– Permanent Full Time Title Information Security Lead Category Cyber Security City Toronto, Ontario, Canada Job Description Information Security Lead Position Description The Wealth Security Lead is responsible for implementation and enhancement of security architecture, operations and administration of global wealth’s suite of products in SaaS environments.

He / She will also work with CGI’s Enterprise Security Office to ensure alignment and support.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Documents and maintains Global Wealth’s processes and procedures to align with CGI Enterprise security standards, policies and product architecture
• Implement the security standard, policies and enhance security architecture of the products
• Primary link between local product and client requirements and Enterprise Security Office.

• Ensuring that security risks within the product areas are identified, assessed, reported and monitored in alignment with the scope of CGI security governance.

• Support on-going security awareness, communication and training within Global Wealth in conjunction with BU Security Lead.

• Ensure CGI security policies, standards and processes are applied throughout the product areas.

• Assist response teams in comparing security controls in RFI/RFP against CGI standards in conjunction with BU Security Lead.

• Assist with and review client responses where CGI security policies and standards are referenced in conjunction with BU Security Lead.

• Assist members with documenting and submitting security exceptions to CGI security policies and standards when necessary.

• Ensuring that security risks within the product areas are identified, assessed, reported and monitored in alignment with the scope of CGI security governance, including overseeing vulnerability & patch management.

• Perform assessments of internal CGI products to ensure enforcement of security program baselines.

• Prepare assessments involving possible internal CGI security violations and initiate measures to correct security deficiencies.

• Prepares and distributes periodic security reports as required by Enterprise or client contract.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• A minimum of eight or more years in an information security role.

• Ability to work in a high-stress, often fast paced environment.

Within security, and especially during incident response, business hours often do not conform to standard and/or extend beyond the traditional eight-hour “work day”.

• Experience with contract reviews based on best practices and company policy.

• Understanding of risk management principles.

• Experience with security incident response.

• Demonstrated judgment and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

• Must be a self-motivating, and self-starter capable of operating with little to no supervision to succeed.

• Must be comfortable with executive presentations and general interactions.

Must be a proficient public speaker.

Education and Certifications
• Bachelor level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred.
