Job Summary : As a result of the outstanding performance and rapid growth of our business, we currently have a career opportunity available for a highly motivated team player as an Inventory/Quality Control Associate with our Toronto Operations Team.

This is an afternoon shift position working Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12:00am.

Job duties : Audit high profile customer orders for accuracy and special requirements Prepare customized customer labels when required Investigate and assist in resolving order discrepancies Provide support to the management team and other departments as requested Work closely with warehouse associates to achieve quality goals Prioritize tasks to meet carrier scheduled pick ups Assist with special projects if needed Skills & Attributes : Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills a must Reliable, well organized and prompt Must be able to multi task and work independently in a fast paced, ever changing environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must Professional appearance and positive attitude are required Adaptable to new software applications and systems Excellent Computer skills with keyboard competence Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, ) Must be a self-starter, with strong self motivation Anixter Inc.
