Summary The main objective of the reliability specialist is to increase the reliability of the installations while contributing to the reduction of maintenance costs.

It implements a predictive and preventive maintenance program in accordance with the work of the reliability team.

It ensures that the number of breakdowns on the most problematic plant equipment and major failures is reduced by mobilizing its maintenance teams.

To carry out his missions, the reliability engineer has an audit carried out of the management of the industrial assets of the plant and of the maintenance plans put in place to announce the areas for improvement at the plant.

Subsequently, he defines a maintenance policy to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and reduce costs Responsabilities Champion failure investigation, perform root cause analysis and resolution activities Supervise the reliability-oriented service calls Facilitate development of strategies for asset health and reliability improvement to prevent and eliminate asset failures utilizing targeted deployment of maintenance strategies, reliable execution of work management practices and reliability engineering principles Monitor and identify potential asset failures prior to a breakdown Complete statistical analysis of calibration data, provide technical support, and subsequently ensure resolution of all issues raised Complete assigned CAPA activities within established baselines Review and analyse daily downtime reports Manage preventive maintenance and calibration documentation Supervise data entry in the CMMS system Participate in CMMS maintenance and improvement (SAP) Design and provide technical training for maintenance personnel Help engineering teams to review plans (quality plan, risk management plan) and requirements (safety, functionality, regulations) to ensure that reliability provisions are taken into account and resolved before release of active Coordinate investigation reports (ZN, ZD) related to Maintenance department Measure and improve maintenance KPIs Coordinate and supervise implementation of continuous improvement or engineering projects Perform any other tasks assigned by Management Support and technically train maintenance supervisors and technicians Lead meetings oriented towards a kaizen approach, Brainstorm Comply with security and quality control standards and procedures Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or College diploma with five (5) years experience.

5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar position.

Manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical environment under cGMP regulation.

Experience with Maintenance Management System (MMS).

Experience in the IR process.

Experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing).

Strong familiarity with regulatory requirements Advanced computer and software skills (SAP or other ERPs).

Capable of reading drawings (mechanical and electrical).

Ability to read mechanical and electrical plans.

Knowledge of current standards Knowledge of statistical process control methods Bilingual (French and English, oral and written).

Leader that will facilitate the work between production and maintenance.

Strong communicator and good documentation skills.
