Procurement Operations Specialist Procom is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist for a role with one of our large enterprise clients in the software space.

Procurement Operations Specialist Job Details Reporting to the Director, Vendor Management, the Procurement Operations Specialist will focus on vendor management, including oversight, performance management, compliance, analysis and reporting of assigned suppliers to ensure enhanced service excellence and operational effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, deepening, and strengthening significant relationships with suppliers while developing, implementing, and managing procurement programs and initiatives.

Procurement Operations Specialist Responsibilities Relationship Management Manage relationships with internal key stakeholders and vendors to facilitate partnerships in effectively developing and delivering of efficient procurement priorities Coordinate various internal functional teams to enhance proactive vendor management efforts and early engagement.

Performance, Data & Market Analysis Develop data quality standards, ensuring high degree of accuracy, completeness and trustworthiness within the data Analyze/understand data from various sources/vendors, transforming this raw data into useful information to make sound business decisions or formulate recommended solutions to mitigate risk and identify contingency strategies and plans Analyze purchase history from suppliers to detect methods to improve margins.

Establish positive relations with suppliers and negotiates pricing terms.

Develop vendor performance scorecards, dashboards, and trend analysis to enhance service excellence and operational effectiveness.

Assists in organizing routine business reviews with prime vendor partners Develop and maintain a wide network of market intelligence and regularly utilizes this information to enhance business relations with suppliers and internal groups Project Coordination Manage multiple projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness Present/gain approval from key stakeholders for proposed solutions/plans Design and implement a structured, issue resolution process, tracking and reporting mechanism to enable root cause trend analysis and identify improvement opportunities Compliance Uphold and ensure vendors operate in compliance with company policies Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge/adherence to various regulatory agencies’ guidance relating to third-party vendor management.

Procurement Operations Specialist Mandatory Skills University education plus a minimum of five (5) years related experience in vendor management / supplier relations Working knowledge of vendor master data design and development Strong analytical capabilities and skills required to provide efficient and effective solutions; Ability to work with large and diverse sets of data Experience with SAP Indirect procurement Ability to take initiative in recognizing data issues/concerns or areas where improvements could be made Strong research and fact-finding capabilities with research and advisory companies (i.e.

Gartner) Results-oriented and creative thinker with a focus on quality and the ability to see the big picture.

Strong leadership and facilitation skills with a proven ability to be a solutions-oriented decision maker Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines, planning, presentation, and communication skill Demonstrated ability to adapt in changing environments Self-management including attention to detail, organizational/time management, strong inclination to self-development.

Strong business and financial acumen.
