Our client, an international investment bank based in Montréal, is looking for a business analyst to work on a Liquidity monitoring global platform.

The position requires significant experience as a Business Analyst in the Capital Market area, and a good knowledge of international payments (swifts, FED…).

A technical background is preferred for the role.RESPONSIBILITIES:In more details, you will be involved with the implementation of various liquidity dashboards and reports :the design of the solution, help the business to refine their business requirementswriting specifications and coordinate with the development team in NY for the back end and Montreal for the BI front end layerTesting, write down the test plans, build the Functional testingplan and run the test through automation perform using SQL queries and or ExcelPROJECT OBJECTIVES:The objective of the project is to develop our systems, processes, and organization to enable the client to comply with the final rules to monitor the liquidity using the monitoring tools and metric we put in placeBuild end to end systems from sourcing of the data (stress testing tool, accounting etc) to the front end on the BI and dashboard toolImplement all the controls necessary to make sure the system is up and running as well as the calculation are right and reconciled with sourcing systemsorganize demo of the latest functionalities implemented, tracking defects and set priorities for developersPROFILE:Competencies:Knowledge of payments processes including, but not limited to, Swift Alliance, FED, Chips, SSIs and OFAC primarily for the USD marketKnowledge of cash management processes including, but not limited to, projecting EOD balances, reconciling projected vs actual intraday, self-clearer vs correspondent paymentsKnowledge of intraday liquidity regulations and trends i.E.

Basel III mandatesKnowledge of security settlements i.E.

DTCCProficient with MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Powerpoint) Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize work amongst multiple projectsGood communication and negotiation skillsAdaptability to changing and growing user needsIdentifies opportunities to increase efficiencyWillingly accepts challenging assignmentsFavors solutions that can be re-used by othersTechnical skills:Skilled in SQL (ideally T-SQL)Visual Studio and SQL management Studioworking in an agile development teamTDD/BDD and its practical implementationDependency InjectionAn understanding of continuous integration and continuous deliveryPrevious experience with Microstrategy is a plus but not requiredUsing Excel to perform and create automated test*
