Corporate Head Office Job Type Permanent, Full-Time Number of Positions 1 Posting Date 06-Jul-2022 Expiry Date 06-Aug-2022 Travel Required Not Required Educational Requirements Bachelors Degree Languages Required English Job Description Reporting into the Transformation Management Office ‘XMO’, the Manager focuses on ongoing analytical support, development, and implementation of solutions that improve, primarily, the decision-making process via data-analysis, cost-analysis, and reporting development.

This position is key in cultivating the accuracy, quality, and decision usefulness of the data generated within Transformation Management Office.

This role involves developing important reporting structures to aide top-level management in making informed business decisions.

The incumbent is required to work closely with peers and leadership as well as with the operating units and business partners.

The Manager of Insights and Reporting is responsible for all process, operationalization of mechanisms by which the Transformation Management Office, records and monitors relevant measures, metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for all identified functional areas.

Duties and responsibilities for the next Manager, Insights and Reporting will include: Supporting the XMO leadership, to maintain progress on projects while balancing the constantly changing and occasionally conflicting priorities to meet timeframes / milestones.

Design, implement, and maintain the production of key reporting to enhance business line transparency and communications with upper management.

Participate in department meetings and working sessions as applicable to ensure the outcome supports the technical design and/or implementation.

Understand organizational reporting and analytical needs to support their key information objectives.

Creates, manages, and maintains quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting XMO tools, including reports and dashboards, to share behavior and information with stakeholders to provide value added insight and actionable recommendations for business partners.

Developing competencies and using the latest tools and technologies available to improve day-to-day processes, and overall operations.

Utilizes advanced analytical techniques to uncover patterns, trends and relationships among large disparate dataset to allow insight into the impact of volumes, productivity and conversion ratios to better understand our risk universe.

Preparing and compiling analytics presentations (e.g., governance trending behaviors, including analysis on program KPIs, progress to plan, financial reporting, etc.) Working with the wider working teams to prepare recommendations for senior management by addressing relevant issues derived from analytic exercises.

Challenging the status quo by recommending new and better ways to serve our internal customers/clients.

Taking an ongoing interest in the field of analytics and identifying key opportunities to improve operations and our internal business partners satisfaction.

Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning for the team.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications: Strong programming experience (>3 years) in multiple languages i.e., .NET, R, VBA, python etc.… Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (power user with a focus on Macros / automation) Strong database administration / management understanding i.e., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server etc.… Strong business writing and public speaking skills with prior experience in preparing and presenting to senior executives.

Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong supportive relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Strong planning, time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task across many projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Self-driven, results-oriented and an ability to work under pressure.

Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and exercise diplomacy and judgement, to effectively work with end users and members of a team.
