As the eyes of the casino, you will be responsible for the monitoring of all areas of the casino property and maintaining the appropriate documentation.

This individual will ensure the safety of our guests, team members and company assets by maintaining continuous surveillance of gaming areas and the entire property.

The chosen member must be passionate and exude respect, as they will be collaborating with their team and will be required to write and generate reports in an accurate manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSILBILITIES: Answering internal and external telephone calls Monitoring, documenting and reporting violations regarding large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access Maintaining logs; preparing daily reports; storing records securely for evidence purposes Monitoring, documenting and reporting on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments Building strong working relationships with team members Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performing other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS: Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests A passion for providing Customer Service to our internal guests and external guests in the quest of achieving service excellence Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on screens/monitors for long periods of time Possess a high level of honesty and integrity; adherence to high standards, methods and procedures Computer proficiency Gaming knowledge & surveillance experience and/or background experience in Criminology an asset Ability to work in a team environment Serving It Right certificate required The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
