This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted September 14, 2020.

DescriptionAs a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will be sharing the responsibility of ensuring that our products are designed and manufactured in accordance with Matrox specifications and quality standards, while at the same time satisfying our customers’ high expectations for Matrox quality, reliability and performance.

In this position, you will focus on improving and streamlining processes, both within the Quality group and company-wide.

You will also serve as a support and coordination resource for other members of the team, performing a wide variety of generalized QA tasks.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with internal groups to ensure adherence to Quality objectives; Propose and spearhead QA improvement projects and related CAPAs; QA validation of mechanical aspects of product design; Support Conflict Minerals regulation data collection and customer inquiries; Perform statistical/trend analysis and generate reports for internal and external use as required; Participate in the corporate documentation effort; Participate in customer audit preparations/documentation.QualificationsUniversity degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Additional academic training in the Quality field is an asset; 3-5 yearsexperience in the electronics industry; Knowledgeof SMT process assembly is an asset; DFM expertise and experience with mechanical assemblies is an asset; Familiarity with electronics assembly standards, as well as SPC and ISO standards is desirable; Must be an autonomous, self-starter able to work under minimal supervision; Must possess strong problem-solving, communication, and inter-personal skills; be detail-oriented and organized; Must be fully bilingual in English and French.
