Come help us lead the haptics revolution!About you:Immersion Corporation seeks a highly motivated Systems Administrator to provide onsite and remote IT support and maintenance for the organization’s computing environment.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all IT hardware and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills, strong technical competence, an ability to learn fast, and strive to utilize available resources to resolve complex problemsResponsibilities:Provide the highest level of onsite and remote IT support for all users.Support a wide range of computing environments including Windows, Macs, and Linux operating systems.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose highly complex Windows, Active Directory, and Office 365 problems in the end-user environment.Provide recommendations for updating computer systems, hardware and peripherals as needed.Strong working knowledge of network environments including an ability to recognize and diagnose connectivity problems.Maintain proper operation of data center hardware including networking devices, physical servers, virtual machine hardware and storage devices.Able to provide advanced usage support to various software packages.

Supports deployment of software packages, drivers and operating system updates.Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.Maintain a complete inventory of all computers.Responsible for new hire setups and orientation.Facilitate desktop system moves, adds and change requests.Work with Dell and outside vendors when appropriate to resolve hardware, software and network issues.Manage local and network printers.Assist with any other Infrastructure duties and tasks that may be required.Complete projects as assigned by management.Availability to provide emergency support during nights, weekends, and holidays.Candidate Expectations:B.S.

degree in Management Information Systems or similar discipline3-5 years minimum experience in an IT administrative roleTechnical certifications a plusThorough knowledge of the following: Windows 10 Professional, Mac OS X, Linux operating systemsMicrosoft Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365Network Administration experience i.e.
