– $38.57 per hour (Commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN Compensation Policy) Hours 35 hour per week Status: Temporary Full-Time (1 Year, with a possibility of extension) University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Technical Analyst I in our Surgical Oncology Department.

Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Statistics/IT, or experience in related field Minimum one (1) year of related experience An understanding of relational database design and experience developing queries in SQL.

Working experience with MS SQL/T-SQL is a plus.

Experience in and understanding of data and information management.

Proficient with at least one programming language.

Experience with Python/JavaScript a plus.

Experience with packages such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, ggplot2 a plus.

Excellent ability to use Microsoft Office products
– PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, SharePoint.

Basic understanding of statistics.

Healthcare industry knowledge and/or experience a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, logical and consistent manner.

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Statistics/IT, or experience in related field.

Responsibilities: Identify, pull, and prepare datasets for statistical model consumption Prepare exploratory statistical analysis and data visualization (Python/R/SPSS/SAS) Maintenance of GU Clinical Trials app Analyze data to recognize patterns and identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and process improvements.

Perform frequent quality assurance checks and implement corrections where necessary to continuously increase the accuracy and reliability of institutional data.

Collaborate with researchers to understand needs and devise appropriate solutions.
