Clients and team members would describe you as dynamic, driven, and highly collaborative.Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the Buyer/Planner is a valued member of the Operations Team.

You will play an integral role in helping pull the company forward in an industry that is changing and evolving every day.Responsible for getting all our products from point A (our production sites) to point B (our warehouses in Canada and the US).

A motivated and reliable individual who plans production schedules based on consensus demand planning, inventory need, safety stock & lead-time.As the Buyer/Planner, you are responsible for reviewing all upcoming inbound shipments to ensure goods ship as per the production schedule; tracking all inbound shipments; coordinating the release of goods at customs; ensuring goods are delivered to the warehouses on time and inventory is always at targeted benchmark levels.

You will actively develop and enhance the contract manufacturers relationships.Key Areas of Responsiblities:
·Supply Planning
·Supplier Relationships
·Demand Planning Support
·Inventory Management for all warehousesQualifications
·APICS or other forecasting Certification preferred.
·Ability to identify process improvements opportunities and manage their execution.
·Two to Three years of experience in Operations preferably in the food industry.
·Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.

Knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP and MRP systems.
·Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office.
·This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
