Salary(Grade:NC8) Hiring salary range $79273-$100,134 Position Purpose The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst is responsible for the implementation of business intelligence initiatives supporting strategic operations campus-wide.

The incumbent must ensure precise and reliable strategic information is readily available to stakeholders, have a solid understanding of the business operations, University’s IT systems and priorities.

An expert in the use of business intelligence tools, the incumbent proposes and develops solutions to those needs with a strategic approach to better decision-making.

Finally, provides guidance and advice to clients in order to align the technology solutions and the business objectives and requirements.

Essential Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a complex and diverse IT environment demonstrating experience in project planning, risk analysis and project management.Other qualificationsKnowledge and expertise in process improvement frameworks.Knowledge of post-secondary institution operational priorities, business processes and management systems that are used by the University and/or the designated client group.Knowledge of post-secondary institution business operations and priorities and ability to provide the appropriate advice and support.Demonstrated experience of BI architect concepts, including modeling and technology selection and implementation.Demonstrated understanding of data warehouse concepts (ODS, DW, DM, BI OLAP, ETL, metadata).Experience with visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, OBIEE, and other BI solutions ) would be an asset.Experience in managing, simultaneously, multiple, cross-functional systems development projects that span multiple years.Demonstrated capacity to provide high level analyses in complex situations.

Good analytical and research abilities, critical thinking and attention to detail.

Bilingualism French and English (spoken and written).
