Adecco Professional is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Bilingual Business Development Representative to work for a well-established, growing international company who is looking to expand into the bilingual markets in Canada. The Canadian office is located in Ontario however this role will allow you to work remote from the Province of Quebec. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation, negotiating, and closing sales, along with a variety of other duties. The ideal candidate will be self-confident, have excellent customer service skills and an interest in sales from the ground up – a fantastic opportunity for a recent bilingual graduate looking to build out a career in B2B sales!

Some of the duties and responsibilities for the Bilingual Business Development Representative job opening in Quebec include, but are not limited to:

  • Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts
  • Call on existing or potential sales outlets; follow up on leads and sales inquiries
  • Lead generating and follow up to help promote the business and generate new sales
  • Adjusting content of sales presentations by studying market and customer trends
  • Liaise internally on a frequent basis to help with customer care and ensure customer satisfaction to expand business growth; this includes local and global
  • Maintain and ensure accurate and timely upkeeping of the database to ensure a seamless service
  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Present sales presentations at customer meetings
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Some of the qualification for the Bilingual Business Development Representative job opening in Quebec include, but are not limited to:

  • Ideally some experience in sales / business development experience however strong customer service experience would also be considered
  • Fully bilingual in English and French – written and spoken
  • Must be self-confident with the ability to work on their own or be part of a team
  • Motivated to learn and become a successful B2B sales representative – keen for the hunt and building a solid foundation with clients for years to come
  • Excellent prospecting, negotiating and presentation skills
  • Excellence in customer service, closing sales, and territorial management; driven to make numerous calls per day and see the results of their work
