Business Analyst, Direct to Consumer Solution Delivery

BRP

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted May 22, 2023.

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Solution Delivery for D2C, who will play a pivotal role in delivering a variety of initiatives to market to fuel our Digital E-com and Omnichannel Experience strategy. You will partner with multiple teams: Digital, Product Design, Marketing, Dealerships, SAP implementation, as well as other partner teams across the BRP ecosystem to launch memorable experiences and help the organization achieve its transformation and market growth objectives.

You will play a role in our transformation effort by collaborating cross-functionally to build our direct to consumer retail practice, define the path of entry into new markets and channels, bring to life meaningful customer journeys, document business and transformation requirements for our business and digital teams, design solutions, and plan the execution of retail transformation initiatives.

You are a strategic/analytical thinker who can link assignments to the bigger picture. You are also keen on implementing system solutions and will play a pivotal role in defining and assuring the fulfillment of our requirements across various systems (E-com website, Order Management, SAP ERP, and more).

You have strong knowledge of Ecommerce solutions and/or implementation, especially in an SAP context.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable working with all levels of management to gain an in-depth understanding of our strategy and services and thrives when working through ambiguity.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Lead business requirement gathering with internal and external partners, including but not limited to customers, the product owner, market research firms, business stakeholders and other sources to inform the design of retail D2C solutions.
  • Work within a product development team as needed using an hybrid methodology, for example (but not limited to):
    – Identifying, documenting and managing the project scope, as well as its evolution: business objectives, business needs, detailed requirements and business rules.
    – Ensuring that business needs, detailed requirements and business rules are covered by the solution.
    – Managing and addressing the gaps until they are resolved.
    – Being the main interface between the business and vendor team.
    – Defining the integration test strategy and scenarios and validating the test results.
    – Assisting the business in the definition of UAT scenarios and supporting the execution of UAT.
  • Provide strong and timely analysis insight and business analytic decision support to management, project leaders, and various organizational stakeholders.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis in support of business cases for retail initiatives.

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor’s Degree in business-commerce, computer science or another relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the retail industry related to Digital/e-Commerce, B2C, Omnichannel projects.
  • Implementation or operational experience with SAP (ideally S4) in an E-commerce or Retail ecosystem.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analysis or Product Owner role.
  • Proficiency in Business Analysis tools (Business Requirement Documents, Business Process workflows, data analysis, etc.).
  • Powerful storytelling and presentation design skills in English is a must. French would be a plus.
  • An excellent ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Excellent listening skills to understand requirements and communication skills to explain and promote solutions.
