Account Coordinator

BILINGUAL ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Position Summary

As part of the Sales and Customer Service team, you will be primarily responsible for the service and management of existing accounts and the end to end sales cycle of small to mid-size accounts. You will be responsible for end-to-end sales with some Customers while supporting and providing service to our larger Customers/Clients in co-ordination with our Account Executive team. In these functions, you will ensure that all account/sales are handled with a focus on developing retaining and growing current business. The Account Coordinator will also work in partnership with the various teams within the company, sometimes responsible for the day to day interactive needs of clients (both external and internal). He/She will act as a liaison between clients, external applicants and others to ensure the smooth handling of any concerns or issues.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for the support and sale of background screening solutions to an established base of existing customers as well as the closing of inbound sales leads individually or in conjunction with their assigned sales pod.
  • Identify accounts with unmet needs that could generate new business.
  • Stimulate volume from existing accounts, upsell and cross sell existing and new services into existing accounts.
  • Increase revenue and retention rates within existing and/ or new accounts within assigned sales pod.
  • Support sales pod in identifying and executing opportunities for penetration into our larger accounts.
  • Qualify and close inbound – outbound new business sales opportunities (mid-medium size account).
  • Build excellent client relationships offering value-added, insightful and strategic input to client business.
  • Track and report activities and support the development of strategic action plans within a book of business and sales pod.
  • Ensure operational customer support and satisfaction by obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints, to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
  • Liaise with Sales pod & Customer Service teams to ensure all unresolved issues are handled by the appropriate resource to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Handle account access issues and provide training/demos if required.
  • Ensure that all required documents are attached to the customer’s request/applicants file as needed including consent documents needed for the requested verification.
  • Participate actively in the weekly Sales’ team meetings (occasionally held off-site or in office).
  • Perform other related tasks.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge and Education

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (must be bilingual)

Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • Two to five (2-5) years of experience in customer service/inside sales
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of sales principles and fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good standard IT skills and knowledge of desktop tools (Office suite, Internet, CRM system)
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to manage work independently and in a team environment
  • Initiative
