Position:Sales RepresentativeLocation: Maritime RegionClosing Date: June 11, 2021 DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:We are looking for a Sales Representative for the Maritime region to join our sales team.Reporting to the Director of Sales for Eastern Canada, this high achiever will be responsible for developing, growing, and servicing our distributor customers.

Successful candidates will possess a strong desire to work in a performance-based culture, a high degree of flexibility, creative problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to make sound business decisions.Living in either the Moncton or Halifax area is a must.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITESIn an organized manner, plan and execute effective territory call cycles incorporating the appropriate call frequency for prioritized customersGrow annual revenues of existing customers, and develop prospects in new marketsMaintain ongoing communication with territory distributor customersProvide seasonal product education, as well as year-round sales resources for targeted distributorsDevelop and follow up an ongoing pipeline of sales opportunities, comprised of at once and annually renewed projectsSolve challenges incorporating a customer / company approachAchieve targets set by forecasts, responsibly manage budgets and customer interactionsProfessionally represent the organization at distributor meetings, industry trade shows, and company meetingsGrow and maintain knowledge of alphabroder Canada’s products, policies, procedures QUALIFICATIONS:Three years previous sales experienceCollege Diploma/Degree or equivalent sales account experience.French is an assetExcellent organization and time management skillsMust have a high degree of flexibility, possess keen judgment and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound business decisionsAble to build and maintain strong relationshipsPossess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues Demonstrated proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Outlook, plus online tools and other computer applications as necessaryMust be available to travel within the immediate territory, plus flexibility to travel outside of the outlined region (for company meetings, etc.) How to Apply:Prior to June 11th, please submit a resume and cover letter to Human Resources via email: hralphabroder.complease indicate in the email subject line “Sales Representative – Maritime Region Application.” Closing date June 11th (apply as soon as possible).It is the policy of alphabroder, as an equal opportunity employer, to attract and retain the best qualified people available, without regard to race, colour, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.Accommodation is available for applicants, including those with disabilities, throughout the recruitment process.
