Business Development Manager

Centre PHI

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted November 21, 2020.

ABOUT THE POSITION Under the supervision of the Manager, Revenue and Financing, the Business Development Manager actively contributes to the development of Phi’s off-site presence by ensuring the visibility of its exhibitions, installations and projects.

This role mainly consists of identifying exhibition venues and opportunities as well as developing and maintaining strategic relationships with various current and potential stakeholders.

He is a results-oriented, proactive and resourceful team player who excels at identifying opportunities and creatively and collaboratively developing plans to bring these opportunities to fruition.

– Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation & contract finalization;
– Develop a sales & distribution strategy for exhibitions & traveling experiences;
– Generate leads, ensure follow-ups & convert them into sales opportunities;
– Ensure follow-up & after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction & loyalty;
– Consolidate data & provide post-mortem reports related to external exhibits & experiences;
– Participate, as required, in the development of marketing plans for travelling exhibits & experiences;
– Continually seek out new opportunities for events & exhibitions;
– Remain attentive to our competitors & adjust the sales strategy accordingly;
– Remain active in the market & participate in the alignment of our organization.

– 5 years of professional experience including at least 3 years in international business development;
– Bachelor’s degree in commerce or marketing, an asset;
– Bilingual (French & English);
– Demonstrate autonomy and proactivity;
– Have a good team spirit;
– Be creative & flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment;
– Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
– Be available to participate in business trips;
– Real passion for culture, art & digital media.
