POSITION IS BASED IN BCThe British Columbia Business Development & Technical Sales role will have the requirements of: regular travel throughout British Columbia, promoting the Company’s products and services.

This position will be responsible for driving growth of the Company’s cast, forged and fabricated wear, abrasion and heat resistant products.

This includes development and implementation of a growth driven business strategic plan based on a strong understanding of industry trends and customer needs.This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished and proven business development and consultative technical sales professional who understands how to drive repeat business and new sales at the pre-design & Engineering (EPC), maintenance and production stages and to solicit job contracts for manufacture of the Company’s cast, forged and fabricated wear, abrasion and heat resistant products.British Columbia Business Development & Technical Sales, main responsibilities are:Primary responsibility is to drive new sales and create new customer relationshipsDevelop and implement growth strategies to expand new company sales to mining and mineral processing customers operating throughout British Columbia.Develop opportunities to sell the company’s proprietary, High Pressure Grinding Rolls to OEM and aftermarket mining and mineral processing customers operating throughout British Columbia.Develop and implement growth strategies to expand company sales to cement, power and railway industries, ground engaging & heavy equipment, smelting and crushing application sectors.Qualify key decision makers and their needs within your accounts.Identifies or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunitiesCloses new business deals in person by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operationsBe responsible for the management of complete project cycles with help of other team members, starting at the prospects’ needs discovery and quote generation stages, through offer presentation, project planning, project execution and summariesBuilding and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers/influencers to obtain repeat and new salesCold calling potential customersDevelop and achieve sales targetsWeekly reporting and schedulingBudget and forecastingExperience RequiredMinimum of Five (5) years’ experience in an outside business development & technical sales role selling to the mining and mineral processing,cement, power and railway industries, ground engaging & heavy equipment, smelting and crushing application sectors in British ColumbiaProven ability to drive new sales; prospecting, qualifying, developing interest, identifying needs, delivering presentations, qualifying concerns and closing.Proven technical sales ability to clarify and confirm your customer’s needs and expectations.Proven ability in achieving sales targets and KPI’s.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships with prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for our products/services.
