SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Account Associate position is a sales support position.

The intention of this position is to provide a training ground with the expectation to grow into a full Account Executive role within 12-18 months.

We are looking for a results oriented individual to be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through to close.

The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals and meet our customer’s expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Account Executives to aid in the promotion, sale and customer education of KARL STORZ products and solutions.

Build productive relationships with physicians, nursing, biomedical engineers and other key individuals at customer accounts.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through assessing customers’ needs, providing assistance and information on products and solutions and delivering excellent sales service.Go the extra mile to drive territory and overall commercial performance – strive to exceed monthly and annual targets and goals.Attend and successfully complete all education programs to develop and exhibit a high degree of knowledge regarding KARL STORZ product lines, key selling features and competitive advantages.Adhere to and promote KARL STORZ’s marketing and communication strategies.Partner with co-workers to quote products and maintenance programs to customers with technical accuracy and within pricing guidelines.

Build and maintain an annual development plan and customer activity report and proactively communicate opportunities with sales and marketing team.Act as a spokesperson for KARL STROZ, ensuring that our core values are being upheld at all times.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESProven customer relationship-building skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times whether dealing with customers at all levels of an organization or fellow co-workers.

Team player possessing strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate, share knowledge to benefit others and solve problems positively in a highly competitive environment.

Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Keen interest in the medical field and technology.

Highly self-motivated, reliable, hardworking and driven.

Ability to work in fast paced environment to achieve goals while under time constraints.Ability to travel domestically (Canada) as well as internationally – 50% travel required.QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of a university undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Science.3 years of customer service or direct sales experience.Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.Strong preference for fluently bilingual candidate (French and English)
