(CAN) Manager, Supply Chain Flow Planning

Position Summary To provide performance and relationship management to one or more Distribution Center network operations through serving, supporting, instructing, and directing Walmart partners and internal/external cross-functional teams towards the efficient and effective flow and storage of goods in order to meet our customers’ requirements.

What you’ll do
• Contribute to and/or Lead projects with cross-functional teams that are aligned to corporate strategies, with specific focus on projects that aim to reduce costs, reduce inventory levels across the business, reduce supply chain lead times, improve product flow and freshness, and improve customer availability in all channels (stores and ecomm).

• Contribute as a Logistics Team lead to the cross-functional planning and coordination of companywide Seasonal Programs and Special Events, striving to balance the expectations of Walmart colleagues with the capabilities of the distribution networks, for both store and Ecomm.

• Support systematic and/or process development and integration as well as daily operations requirements with 3PL logistics providers, both stores and Ecomm.

• Work collaboratively with our DC operations teams for one or more DC networks, tracking actual results to plan, and providing the necessary support and direction towards meeting or exceeding budget targets and levels of service (LOS).

• Work collaboratively with our DC operations teams in identifying Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs) for one or more DC and Ecomm networks, tracking actual results to plan, and providing the necessary support and direction towards meeting or exceeding CIP targeted benefits.

• Work collaboratively cross-functional teams to minimize and mitigate the impacts of scheduled shutdowns, outages, and system upgrades in our DC network.

This includes statutory holiday schedule changes.

• Support one or more DC and Ecomm Networks through regularly scheduled visits to designated DCs during which planned tours and meetings with partner management and team members are conducted and tangible value is derived for both parties.

• Identify the unique flow planning needs of the current and future Ecomm network to build processes and strategies that work in an OMNI environment.

• Strengthen relationships with internal and external partners, with specific focus on Ecomm and Store Operations and gathering feedback from our customers on how we can improve product flow to the stores and Ecomm facilities, and delivering that feedback up the supply chain to Capacity and Operations Planning colleagues.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of short and long term logistics strategies as well as the 3 to 5 year DC Network growth strategy.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 6-8 years of related experience required Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Experience mediating between stakeholders with competing priorities to reach alignment on complex issues Ecommerce experience is an asset Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
