We specifically support single parents, pregnant women, mothers with newborns, large families with young children, people with disabilities, and older adults. We provide newcomers with better access to a new start by reducing the stress, isolation, and other difficulties they face.

We achieve this by providing basic furniture and other essential items for their new homes, followed by support with our Welcome Groups who work with the families to provide practical information (such as how to navigate the healthcare system, or how to register children for school) and guidance about social and community services in their neighbourhood and around the city.Having grown considerably since our founding three years ago, the organization is entering a phase of stabilization and of refining our programs and impact measurements.
