Position Summary: Specialty Territory Manager will be expected to drive GI/Allergy product sales in his/her territory based on quotas set-forth by the sales management department.

Primary detailing will be focused on Hospitals, Pediatric GI, Pediatric Allergist, and surrounding clinics while supporting local and regional efforts and projects.

This position will share the territory of Quebec and Atlantic province.

Travel may change depending customer needs.

Essential Functions: To effectively manage the territory based on: Develop territory sales and meet sales objectives for their region (80%) Builds partnerships with key customers and key centers.

Consultative selling and promotion of products within customer segments in assigned territory through communicating with medical practitioners, dietitians’ and nurses.

Plans and conducts programs and activities (in-services, continuing health education programs, regional meetings, etc…) that will drive growth of brands and products in territory.

Attends industry trade shows when beneficial for territory Business Planning and territory management (10%) Develops a Quarterly Business Plan for Territory, focusing on business planning steps within span of control, as well as needs from cross-functional partners.

Provides analytic insight to territory data, issues, and opportunities, utilizing all available company resources.

Manages annual budget for territory activities and programs Reports new product ideas/suggestion, market trends and competition.

Administration (10%) Utilizes Nutricia’s Sales Force Automation tool to document all contacts.

Sends monthly report to manager about territory business update Completes and submits Expense Reports monthly.

Manages sample requests and budget Participates in monthly team teleconference to report on overall territory status and provide feedback.

Miscellaneous responsibilities Identification of and effective communication of all company products/benefits to appropriate health care professionals and clients using accurate product information and persuasive sales presentation techniques.

Attend and participate in corporate meetings and national/regional sales meetings.

Accurate reporting and resolution of client problems, escalating as appropriate Other duties as assigned.

Set Priorities Supervisory responsibilities: The (job title) does not have direct reports.

Working conditions: The job will require domestic travel to cover the given geography (20% overnight).

The position is field office based with telephone and computer responsibilities as well as travel to interface with sales representatives on a daily basis, to meet field ride along objectives.

Occasional evenings required and weekend travel and work for company meetings, trade shows and/or patient conferences There is some lifting of products not to exceed 30 lbs.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Fluent in English and French and ability to communicate both written and oral 2+ years of hospital and/or account base selling 3+ years (one full fiscal annual cycle) of sales experience on the pharmaceutical, nutrition and/or medical equipment industry Register Dietitian (RD), Licensed Dietitian (LD) or Register Nurse (RN) preferred Nutrition and/or clinical experience preferred Success factors: Ability to lead and collaborate in high performing, diverse teams to achieve business goals and objectives Deliver results, set priorities and engage into energetic and focused action Develop authentic relationships, through generous listening & straight talking, whether agreeing or disagreeing Anticipates problems and drives beyond conventional practices with current resources to generate new ways of delivery Understand the industry, reimbursement landscape, main accounts, etc.
