This is accomplished via the Changeover system.

The Changeover Consultant is responsible for all facets of the Dealer Changeover process, which provides an orderly and equitable sale of a Canadian Tire Store’s assets from one dealer to another.

Ensuring that consistency, accuracy, and impartiality is the cornerstone of that process.

This role requires extensive travel in Central Canada and bilingual candidates are preferred.

What You’ll DoThe Dealer Changeover Consultant is responsible for preparing, executing, finalizing, and continuously improving the changeover process.

The position also assists in the mediation of all disputes and consults on matters of policy and procedures.

This is done to ensure that the Changeover meets the highest standards of accuracy and fairness while using ” Best Practices”throughout the entire process.

The role adds value by functioning to monitor risk for the corporation.

In addition, you will be required to do the following: Plan, educate, and prepare the Dealer and store staff for the changeover process in order to maximize the level of accuracy in the evaluation of inventory and fixed assets Explain changeover policies to all parties and ensure that they follow guidelines throughout the process Develop a store-specific critical path (actions, people, and timeline) for all aspects of the changeover Evaluate the fixed assets of the store by utilizing a fixed set of rules and depreciation rates that govern the asset count process.

This includes ensuring that assets are properly identified and placed into the proper depreciation category Oversee and direct the Inventory count, utilizing a third-party inventory company, while ensuring the integrity of the count by directing the store staff in procedures designed to produce the highest level of accuracy possible Mediate disputes between Dealers, utilizing experience and knowledge of changeover policies and procedures What You’ll Bring Ability and willingness to engage in extensive nationwide travel for approximately 40 weeks per year.

Proximity to a major city airport is preferred.

A maximum reimbursement of $65 for transportation to or from the airport and home will be provided Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated composure during periods of conflict Demonstrated leadership skills in order to simultaneously direct both the staff of the inventory count teams and store staff to ensure the accurate completion of the many tasks that constitute the changeover process.
