DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, PORTFOLIO & INNOVATION At Irving Consumer Products, we recognize that the key to our success is our people.

Irving Consumer Products produces branded and private label bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, as well as napkins.

The Director of Portfolio & Innovation is responsible for the product strategies and leadership of ICP’s NA product portfolio across four (4) categories ie bath tissue, paper towels, facial tissue and napkins for brands and PL.

This role requires strong strategic planning skills coupled with critical thinking and cross
– functional management and alignment skills.

The product portfolio seeks to deliver meaningful renovation along with innovation that is supported with business case analysis.

Once aligned on the strategy this role will provide leadership via a stage gate process.

It involves managing a matrix of individuals cross functionally to ensure successful delivery by account.

This role requires someone who is results-focused, has a strong bias for action, and a collaborative, influence-driven work style.

This role works across functional groups at numerous geographical locations that includes brand and PL marketing, research & insights, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, sales strategy, customer management, along with external partners.

Key Responsibilities: Create the 3-year Product Pipeline Strategy
– ICP Brands and PL Brands Orchestrate the 3 Year Portfolio Management Execution Plan Be an active participant of the Marketing Leadership Team to help shape and mold strategies and assist on evaluating and altering plans as needed.

Be an active member of the team to prepare the learning and evaluation agenda for the marketing team including marketing competencies.

Liaison with the Director of Innovation from Cavendish to learn from and about their stage gat process.

Assist on adhoc assignments and attend cross functional meetings representing marketing as need.

Requirements: University Degree, MBA Preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant product development and marketing experience Store brand management experience is a plus Paper category experience a plus Stage gate management experience Innovation research experience Market research Technical, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Excellent cross functional alignment leadership skills (including listening skills) Strong communication skills Strategic thinker with ability to translate to pragmatic executional plans Demonstrated project management skills
