This role compiles detailed reports on areas including daily cycle counts, reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, and quality assurance.

This Supervisor will report into the Inventory Manager.

The Inventory Supervisor reconciles inventory reports within the Oracle database, tracking, and reporting of breakages, damages and losses to appropriate parties.

The incumbent will work with the Inventory Manager, Store Inventory Coordinators, and DC Manager as the liaison between the warehouse and other departments including Sales, Distribution, Product Supply, and E-Commerce.Job DescriptionCan you?Oversee and conduct the scanning, reconciliation and reporting of the monthly inventoriesReconcile inventory transfers from national distribution centres; analyze and adjusts anydiscrepancies to maintain balanced inventory levels within the DC’sComplete detailed reports on inventory discrepancies on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and investigates or adjusts any discrepancies with the support of detailed reportsReport on key inventory metrics such as turns, category valuations, aged product, adjustments, product availability and other important inventory metrics for all regions at the DC’s.Ensure the completion of weekly, monthly and quarterly tracking of Key Performance Indicators in the areas of Inventory managementWork with Store Inventory, Operations, and Product Supply teams to highlight inventory opportunities (turns, demo, discontinued, aged availability, excess, and adjustments) and strategies to address unsatisfactory inventory performanceReport on inventory levels, RTV’s, not available for sale stock, aged Inventory status/levels, and codes in the distribution centre to ensure proper traceability of all items.Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded timely and accurately, to reflect a correct inventory position at any time.Work with vendors to ensure they are aware of SCC & DV requirementsManage all inbound e-commerce order returns which includes putting new product back into inventory or writing product off that cannot be resold.Cooperate in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.Lead problem-solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings and leadership.Actively supports internal and external audits.Adhere to the SCC/DV Code of Ethics and actively apply the Sleep Country values.
