National Laboratory.Job DescriptionAs part of our continued growth, Felix & Paul Studios is lookingfor a results-oriented and customer-focused Sales and Business Development Executive.Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President, Sales & Partnerships will be responsible for designing and executing the sales and business development strategy in all markets to ensure the company’s success and growth.

He/she will be responsible for scaling business revenues through customer prospecting, evangelization and long-term relationship building.Determined to achieve aggressive revenue goals, the Vice President will oversee the performance, strategy and alignment of sales initiatives, working closely with the CEO and other company leaders to increase revenues and propel Felix & Paul Studios into its next stage of growth.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the CEO and the Product, Finance and Marketing teams in place to optimize existing revenue models; Identify opportunities for the development of new revenue streams and build corresponding business models; Analyze the portfolio of content available in the studio’s award-winning content catalogue to assess revenue potential, evaluate monetization opportunities and the distribution models to put in place; Build and driveB2B2C sales.

Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities; Develop and implement robust sales management processes pipeline, account planning, and proposal development; Identify sales revenue from traditional and cable TV broadcasters and the proliferation of VOD, OTT and content streaming platforms such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+, etc.; Develop partnerships and sponsorship programs with brands; Drive scale andprofitability by professionalizing the sales business approach, the go-to-market strategy and business development initiatives; Build a winningsales organization by hiring, coaching and motivating team members and or external third-party distributors or partners; Negotiate majoragreements and strategic partnerships with telcos/broadcasters, content providers and distributors; Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads (CRM) and make adjustments, if required, to maintain growth; Prospect for new business and maintain close relationships with key target clients; Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics (KPIs); Establish both short-term and long-term objectives and strategies, including revenue forecasting; Understand customers’ needs and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.

The VP, Sales & Partnerships is an experienced executive with a background in digital media, content and entertainment and a goal-oriented leader with excellent people skills.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and negotiating commercial partnerships and is a strong field sales performer.

She/he can take ownership of all sales and business development initiatives and build a strong sales pipeline and act as a catalyst for revenue growth.The VP, Sales & Partnerships must possess a thorough knowledge of the media industry and digital content business models to identify, analyze and successfully drive sales.The ideal candidate is at her/his best in a fast-changing environment and an emerging industry with plenty of ambiguity and stimulating, challenging problems to solve.Experiences And CompetenciesEntrepreneurial spirit, with a proven record in developing and executing a field sales and business development strategy in an early-stage company; Previous sales,marketing, business development leadership experience in the digital media, television, mobile, gaming, apps or entertainment industries; Demonstrated experience in negotiating distribution, licensing, branded content and sponsorship agreements for digital content, TV or Film; A well-established and robust network of contacts with key executives in the telecom, location-based entertainment, television and media industries, considerable experience as a C-level member of an organization within the digital content TV and media sector, and recognized as an industry leader amongst peers; Proven track record as a B2B2C revenue generation professional; Experience working in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment; Strong ability to transition from the strategic level to day-to-day tactical operations; Ability to build a results-oriented culture; Highly organized and has very effective time management skills; Strong coaching, communication, interpersonal and development skills; A history of exceeding targets with ever-increasing sales targets; Ability to create and refine an efficient sales process to ensure high close rates; Proven ability to build trust with customers and close deals.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in relevant fieldTen years of proven track record in business development in a B2B environment; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Written and verbal fluency both in French and English; Willingness to travel.Personal CharacteristicsResults-driven DNA; a “Closer”Hands-on, ” Roll-up your sleeves” mindset, with an inspirational personality and ability to be a driver and change agent; Business acumento continually improve and develop sustainable results; Polished executive presence and strong presentation skills; Inspirational team player with strong interpersonal skills and integrity with a winning, ” Can-do” attitude; High energy anda strong drive to build a business and to break new ground.Additional InformationFelix & Paul Studios Inc.
