Summary Responsible for managing the research and development programs and the resources associated with the department.

This includes the evaluation of potential new projects, the development of new products to ensure portfolio growth as well as the maintenance of the established products to respond to the organizational needs such as process optimization, scale-up, troubleshooting activities and technical transfers.

Reviews and approves the technical documentation issued by the department Responsabilities Work with Business Development group and Executive Management Team to evaluate and select new projects for the product pipeline Ensure that resources are in place to deliver pipeline projects on time and on budget Foster strong ties with key research groups to influence new development projects/clinical trials in order to support the future pipeline Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Marketing in order to optimize current/future products for: Safety, Quality, overall customer satisfaction and maximum profitability Foster a strong collaboration with research teams in India in order to accelerate the development process Possess expertise, both theoretical and practical, in radiopharmaceutical development, radiochemistry and chemistry in general, as well as safety and engineering to suggest methodologies, provide active support and stimulate creativity for the research programs.

Examples of expertise/knowledge include API development, formulation development, radiolabeling, scale-up, lyophilization cycle development, process development/validation and analytical method development/validation Responsible (with Legal) to maintain and defend the company’s Intellectual Property Portfolio Establish goals and objectives for the Research and Development Department.

Establish departmental budget allocation; track performance against the capital budget, completes SR& ED report Develop and manage training and career development of individuals within the department Can replace at times any direct report Perform additional duties as assigned by Management M.Sc.

or Ph.D.

degree in science with a specialization in radiochemistry/radiobiology Advanced knowledge of radiochemistry and chemistry Familiar with USP, EP pharmacopeia and ICH guidelines.

Knowledge of US, Canadian and European cGMP regulations.

Bilingual (English and French).

Creative mindset with analytical problem solving skills.

A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent supervisory and project management skills.

Sense of urgency; understanding of organizational needs and requirements The work usually takes place in a radiopharmaceutical production area
