Summary Responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the development of careers.

Sets performance metrics and helps workers create long-term career plans within the organization (JHS & JDI).

Responsabilities GMP related Activities Monitor the regulatory trends of the main inspection bodies (FDA, Health Canada, etc.) Responsible for maintaining the compliance of the Site Training procedures Manage the GMP and non GMP training program for the site.

Support training coordinators / specialists in the deployment of the GMP training initiatives Coordinate implementation of the new LMS System (Compliance Wire) at the site and ensure its compliance once implemented.

Participate with all Jubilant Pharma sites to the maintenance of global settings within the LMS Supervise the LMS site Training Administrator.

Lead and Manage the Site Training Committee.

GMP and Non-GMP related Activities Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.

Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.

Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.

Resolve any specific problems and tailor programs as necessary.

Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.

Non-GMP related Activities Participates to the identification & development of “A” players and High Potential employees through succession planning.

Develop competency profiles to help effectively fill positions and enable people to excel in their jobs.

Support management in the creation of individual development plans.

Provide opportunities for ongoing development.

Evaluate competency and skill needs based on the 5 years plan of each business unit and build development programs to address future needs.

Lead Leadership Development initiatives for the site, including informal learning such as co-development groups.

Collaborate with Jubilant Pharma Manager Learning and Organizational Development (NA) for the deployment of global Learning and Development initiatives Manage training budget Evaluate results of psychometric evaluations to find and develop the right fit talent for the business Support the HR team on special projects as required Requirements Bachelor or Master’s degree in Adult education, Human Resources or relevant field CRHA is an asset 5 to 8 years of related experience Knowledge of GMPs as well as pharmaceutical experience including sterile and non-sterile manufacturing Experience in supervision Track record in designing and executing successful training programs Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.) Ability to assess training needs and objectives Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodology Knowledge of implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and program Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles Teaching and facilitation skills Proficiency in MS Office and in database software Adequate knowledge of learning management software Bilingual is essential Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences Strong organizational and time management skills
