TheArtOfBootMaking CityDryJob DescriptionThe Assistant Store Manager works closely with the Store Manager along with the store sales team to ensure that the brand’s customer service expectations are met.

Supporting the Store Manager with all operational tasks, observing and coaching the sales associates, and assisting customers as required are all key elements of the Assistant Store Manager’s role.

Additional duties include managing all customer related issues, operational and logistical tasks, promoting sales, building a loyal clientele and providing product knowledge to the store team on an ongoing basis.

The Assistant Store Manager acts as an extension of the Store Manager in their absence, in all areas such as; managing day-to-day operations, staffing, store maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstands and executes all store operations, policies and proceduresAssists with all administrative and operational proceduresManages payroll & time & attendance Build a loyal clientele base by consistently acquiring new customers, developing existing clients, and maintaining loyal clientsFocus on increasing sales volume and reinforce excellent client-service standards and customer developmentProvide leadership and team building to the store team in driving sales, service and profitabilityConsistently interact and lead team on sales floor to motivate positive sales resultsOngoing education of sales associates in regards to product, policies and proceduresFacilitate staff development by providing performance feedback, coaching on the spot,and fostering a positive and productive work environment Continuously verifies the stockroom to be aware of merchandise availability and stockroom cleanliness and organizationMonitor inventory levels and request transfers as necessaryMaintains store cleanliness standards and presentationAssist the Store Manager with weekly store schedules when requiredPrepare weekly reports as requiredPrior retail sales experience in a luxury environment preferredBilingual
