Via virtual meeting client contact / communication.

Upon award provide physical contact / communication with clients Provide interface between clients and Mass Timber staff members as required.

Problem solve and trouble shoot client concerns as/when required.

Qualifications for an applicant preferred are: The ability to get thru to a client via phone, video conferencing as required and build a long-term relationship with the client on behalf of the company – one of two most important traits required The ability to sell a product to a client – one of two most important traits required Technical diploma or secondary education preferred, but not necessary in reference to the two points noted above.

Must be honest in both dealings with the clients and with the company and its personnel.

Ability to learn and as importantly absorb technical knowledge in the fields of Engineered Wood Products for the Mass Timber Industry.

Ability to think on your feet during discussions with highly skilled professionals in the Architectural, Engineering and Development fields of building construction.

Ability to provide personality adjustment within oneself to adapt to various personality traits within client base.

Ability to understand technical drawings of buildings and related components.

Ability to relate to co-workers in the Management & Project Management personnel within the company.

Understand cost analysis spreadsheets to correlate to quotations and details.

Understand quotations to provide further information as required to clients.

Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite Preferred experience in dealing with both architectural and engineering firms, and ability to communicate with these groups as clients.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good organization skills critical to position.

Applicant would typically be working in office environment, but may be required to perform visits to clients within North America, and construction site visits.

Head Office: Calgary, Alberta, Canada Sales Manager Location: Dependant upon Sales Managers Location and Client Base Location Employee Status: Valuable Seniority Level: Mid – Senior Level (Applicant Dependent) Travel: Possibly total of one week / month Employment Type: Full Time (potentially what is required to acquire business for the company) Industry: Construction/Manufacturing / Distribution Job Functions: Sales / Client Relations Compensation: Base Salary for initial term that will reduce to full commission of a % of gross sales.

No limit on commission going forward (This will dictate a very skilled sales person who understands the long term benefits will far outweight the short term salary cap initially provided).

Expected commission structure for a GOOD Sales Manager in the $300 – 500,000 range.

This assessment allows us to better evaluate fit and satisfaction in the role.
