Who We AreNamaste Technologies is an international cannabis eCommerce company operating seven sites in six countries.

We have years of data collected on legal cannabis users and by combining machine learning technology with telemedicine apps, we are monetizing this information.

Last year, we acquired our sales license for our Licensed Producer CannMart which now allows us to operate our marketplace for all brands’ legal cannabis products.

CannMart operates as a subsidiary of Namaste Technologies which allows us to engage in the distribution of medical cannabis through our Toronto location.

This strategic acquisition leveraged our strengths in eCommerce and logistics to place us squarely in a position of leadership in the retail distribution of medical cannabis in Canada.

Come and grow with one of the best cannabis companies on the planetWho You AreThe Director, Business Development, will work closely with the CannMart marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management.

Ensures business growth strategies are met.

The primary focus of the Business Development Director will be driving results with the business development team through identifying and establishing key relationships with high-level decision-makers, initiating the discovery process and maintaining a pipeline of qualified, prospective customers that ultimately leads to new business.This is the right role for an entrepreneurial, strategic thinker who likes to lead from the front lines and fundamentally understands business development, demands generation and platform growth and has the desire and capacity to play a critical role in contributing to a rapid growth company.Must be an extremely confident public speaker who is able to present to a variety of audiences, from C-Level executives to small business owners.

Reporting directly to the CEO of CannMart’s business unit.Role & ResponsibilitiesWorking with the CEO of CannMart to develop short and long-term strategies in relation to sales arm agreements and others.

Initiate contact and speak to other LP’s to identify any potential partnership or opportunityFocus on generating new business with new brands, SKU’s, and white label opportunities for CannMart’s manufacturing facility Working with Operations & Sales to establish processes to streamline the onboarding of these new opportunities.

Identifying new opportunities to allow for added Revenue and GM, specifically in the B2B Channel.

Manage all existing sales arm and drop ship partners.

Identify any new licensing opportunities and work directly with the CEO to explore and identify these opportunities.

Weekly reporting on progress compared to targets and any other reports that are required.

Building a sales structure and working with the CEO on the scale including the US and other jurisdictions.

Working with other members of SLT on different business development opportunities.
