We are actively hiring for a Senior Manager – Demand & Capacity Planning
– Remote Join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.

Your Role: Reporting to the VP of the Enterprise Strategic Initiative Office, the Demand & Capacity Management Leader supports the value streams within Personal Lines Solution Delivery.

This strategic role partners with Value Stream Leaders and Product Managers within all Personal Lines Value Streams and Platform owners to facilitate robust roadmap planning, articulate utilization of capacity across demand types by Value Stream and Application, and to support resource allocation decisions.

They will play a crucial leadership role in creating a holistic representation of how capacity is being used across value streams to deliver business features, including Strategic Initiative investments, “Run the Business” demand and Operational Quality and Technical Optimization demand, along with creating visibility into application-level investments resulting from delivery of features.

They will partner with Value Stream Leaders to understand the pipeline of future demand across all work effort types to surface bottlenecks and capacity constraints, will facilitate strategic decisions around resource allocation and staffing, will coordinate with Value Stream Leaders and Product Managers to publish integrated views across value streams depicting work in flight, will define and optimize paths for delivery of routine demand, and will partner with Platform owners and Finance representatives to create visibility into work efforts at various levels, including by initiative, value stream, category and application.

Your work: Represents division in IT Intake, facilitating distribution of demand within the scope of Personal Lines Solution Delivery to the appropriate path for delivery.

Partners with Value Stream Leaders to articulate a multi-year roadmap of technical advancements required to support the Vision and Strategy of each Value Stream.

Partners with Value Stream Product Managers to create and maintain an integrated delivery roadmap of all work effort types in flight.

Facilitates cross-value stream leadership activities to analyze future demand and work in flight to identify dependencies, synergies, sequencing opportunities, cross-ART skill propagation opportunities etc.

Acts as an aggregation point to bring together data across value streams to create insights into resource utilization against initiatives, value streams, applications, and investment types.

Supports ESIO and Personal Lines Solution Delivery leadership in performing detailed cross-value stream analysis of bottlenecks and imbalances in demand type and/or resource skillsets to aid in optimization of overall delivery.

Partners with finance division to aggregate information at a division, value stream, application and initiative level to support financial planning and budgeting for the Personal Lines Solution Delivery organization.

Facilitates resource capacity planning and allocation for projects to enable shifting of resources within IT Value Streams to focus on the highest priorities.

May act as a delegate or back-up for the ESIO Technology leader as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems Degree or equivalent experience.

Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner certifications highly desired.

5 Years in a technology leadership role required.

Experience leading in a matrixed organization with a distributed workforce.

Experience in Scaled Agile delivery.

Detailed understanding and experience delivering multiple large-scale projects.

Strong problem-resolution and analytical skills.

Shows respect for differences through excellent communication skills with people from an array of backgrounds.

The national average salary range for this position is $147,519-$163,900.

However, we have a location-based compensation structure.

Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence.

The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is 132,750-$196,600 This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 18% of eligible pay.
