– Permanent Full Time Title Technical Project Manager Category Project Management City Toronto, Ontario, Canada Job Description Technical Project Manager Position Description We are looking for a self-motivated, career driven, ambitious person to join a team of experienced professionals who serve as subject matter experts and automation engineers for a high-profile financial client.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Drive the service and solution delivery with quality, cost and timeliness as a Technical Project Manager (TPM) within a technology organization.

• Work with stakeholders across Infrastructure SMEs, Architecture, Development, Business Analysis, QA, Senior Management and Client executives to develop work packages, project plans and tracking of deliverables.

• Produce project reports, status dashboards, risk logs and present governance updates to internal and external stakeholders.

• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for project members required for specific projects or initiatives.

• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical project resources.

• Hold regular technical project team meetings to determine progress and address challenges regarding projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• College or University Degree or equivalent in a computer related field or related work experience.

• 5 years plus of experience in a similar position or equivalent exposure.

• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferred.

• High Proficiency in one or multiple project methodologies is mandatory (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Lean etc.)
• Technical proficiency in at least one of the IT Infrastructure stacks is strongly preferred – Windows/Linux System Administration, Virtualization, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Networking, Storage and Database.

• Overall understanding of IT Infrastructure and end to end system solutioning and workflows preferred.

• Self-motivated, problem solver, highly organized and capable of operating effectively on independent tasks and in group-related projects.

• Good written and oral communication skills, a positive attitude and solid customer service skills are essential.

Additional competencies that are assets:
• Sound knowledge of ITIL Standards or certification preferred
